March marks the enchanted threshold of Spring, as cosmic energies with awakening nature, unveiling Italy in its most iconic and welcoming splendor!
The most iconic image of this season is undoubtedly Botticelli's Primavera, perhaps the most famous painting currently housed in the Uffizi in Florence. To this great artist is dedicated Da Botticelli a Mucha. Bellezza, Natura, Seduzione (From Botticelli to Mucha. Beauty, Nature, Seduction), the exhibition to be held in the Chiablese Halls of Turin’s Musei Reali, starting from April 17, 2025.
A journey into beauty through myth, nature and the feminine universe.
The exhibition features over 100 works including paintings, drawings, ancient sculptures and art objects from the Musei Reali of Turin, the Uffizi Galleries and other prestigious institutions. Among the masterpieces on display, Botticelli's Venus from the Galleria Sabauda and Luca Longhi's Lady with a Unicorn from Castel Sant'Angelo.
The guest of honor at the exhibition will be the splendid Girl's Face, an autograph drawing by Leonardo da Vinci. Made between 1478 and 1485 approximately, the drawing comes from the Royal Library and is exhibited in the new Leonardo Space on the first floor of the Galleria Sabauda.
