We're finally here: Milan shines with glamor again! Since February 25, the city has dressed up to host the autumn-winter 2025 fashion week. A real extravaganza that will last until March 3, 2025.
THE BEST OF MADE-IN-ITALY’S FASHION AND IMPORTANT ANNIVERSARIES
This year the atmosphere is electrifying! Gucci opened the fashion shows, kicking off a series of breathtaking events. Among the most anticipated innovations, there are two creative debuts that are supposed to be no less than sparkling: Lorenzo Serafini takes the reins of Alberta Ferretti, while David Koma brings his vision to Blumarine.
Milan will host the parade of Made in Italy’s columns.
Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Giorgio Armani, Etro, Moschino: these will be the main protagonists of Milan Fashion Week. But the anniversaries of some brands are especially eagerly awaited.
2025 is in fact a year of great celebrations: Fendi blows out 100 candles! The milestone will be celebrated with a special catwalk under the guidance of Silvia Venturini Fendi, who temporarily returns to the head of the fashion house.
The celebratory fashion show for the first 30 years of Dsquared2 is also highly anticipated. K-way instead celebrates 60 years with its "first time" on the catwalks. Each of them has prepared special fashion shows that will combine men's and women's collections.
MILAN FASHION WEEK: A GLIMPSE OF EAST AND SPAIN
The Fashion Hub will become the beating heart of young designers, with a particular look towards the East: from Korean creations to precious Mongolian yarns.
Also, not to be missed is the first Milanese monographic exhibition dedicated to Cristóbal Balenciaga: Balenciaga / Shoes from Spain Tribute. It will be open until March 2 at Palazzo Morando and will host 25 original creations.
